The Assothink universe is organized between passive jelly and active jelly.

The passive jelly is organized in 5 levels:

1. variants
2. percepts
3. concepts (the central, critical and most important level)
4. qualiLinks
5. fuzzyLinks

Concepts

Concepts are intrinsically language independent.

Concepts are linked to other concepts through fuzzyLinks (binary relations)

Concepts are linked to other concepts through qualiLinks, any qualiLink being defined itself by a concept (ternary relations).

Concepts are accessible through

- language concepts

- keys (wordnet keys, wikipedia keys, assothink keys)

- definitions

- manifests

ko : concept, globally, organized in categories (N V A D Q S C R G)

kob : basic (or built-in) concepts, with no relation with wordnet, without language anchoring (categories Q C S R)

koa : concepts anchored in language, through synsets, according to the wordnet scheme and built on part of them

kog : dynamically generated concepts

Percepts

Percepts (language words, known as lemmas) are related to concepts (upside) and to variants (downside)

qp : qualified percepts(categories are N V A D)

up : unqualified percepts (most often irrelevant)

Variants

Variants (language words known as inflections) are related to percepts, to nothing more.

qv : qualified variants (rarely used, categories are N V A D)

uv : unqualified variants
